Answers to Common Concerns
WILL MY INSURANCE COVER ANY PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE I PURCHASE?
We won't know if your prescription is covered by your insurance until we create and submit your insurance claim to your plan. After submission of your claim, we'll know within a few seconds if your prescription claim will be covered or rejected. Sometimes a claim may reject because your insurance believes you are refilling your medication too soon (outrageous!!! we feel the same as you), but our system will remind us to resubmit your claim on the day your plan allows. If you're unable to wait until your insurance-permitted refill date, we can dispense most prescriptions earlier if you'd like to pay out of pocket. Note that paying out of pocket for an early refill is non-refundable.
CAN I BUY GENERIC BRAND PRESCRIPTIONS EVEN THOUGH MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED ME A BRAND NAME MEDICATION?
Absolutely! We encourage you to fill generics. Generic medications contain the same active ingredient as their brand equivalents. Additionally, generic medications typically have more affordable co-payments.
Can you ship my order to me?
The short answer is yes; however, typical of our industry there are state & federal regulations you should be aware of: we can ship to anyone in California, and we can ship to California residents that are out of state for work or personal reasons. But if you are a resident of another state then we are not allowed to ship prescriptions to you. With that said, we ship via GSO, USPS, FedEx, and UPS. We encourage the use of GSO if shipping within California, Nevada, New Mexico, or Arizona because the cost of shipping is the same or less than their competitors' base shipping fee and you'll receive your order much faster - overnight the next business day. Can I return my medications?
Unfortunately it is against the law for us to accept medications that have left the pharmacy threshold, even for a brief time. It is your responsibility to review the medications you are picking up at the register; at that time you may inform the staff member ringing you up that you won't need a certain item that we prepared for you.
